EXPERIENCE

 

July 2011 – October 2011, CDi Corp. - Contracted to: Siemens Energy, Inc.         

Field Operations Coordinator

 

Responsible for the safe and damage free coordination, transfer, and transportation of wind components and associated equipment and materials for multiple ongoing projects throughout the United States.

 

·         Observe, advise, and report on loading, offloading and transfer of wind components, equipment and materials in the field.

·         Coordinate and liaise with Manufacturers, Shipping Lines, Rail operators, Stevedores, etc...

 

 

June 2010 – February 2011, Navalimpianti U.S.A., Inc.

Global Service Team Leader

 

Directly responsible for a dedicated team of service personnel and sub-contractors working on fleet operations of cruise, commercial, private, and naval vessels electro-mechanic and hydraulic components around the globe including:

 

·         LSA Davit, Crane, and Winch systems.

·         Shell door assemblies.

·         Retractable cover assemblies.

 

Responsible for planning and coordinating the activities of multiple service teams globally during:

 

·         Annual, Bi-Annual, and Five-Year Service and inspections.

·         Annual, Bi-Annual, and Five-Year Wire Rope inspections and replacement.

·         Dry-dock interventions including: Davit extraction and stored power refurbishment.

 

April 2008 – June 2010, Granite Services International, Inc. - Contracted to: General Electric

GE/Wind Turbine Field Engineer

 

Involved in all aspects of turbine construction including materials receiving, erection, mechanical completion including final inspections and electrical commissioning through grid, (SCADA) integration as the suppliers representative.

 

·         GE-1.5MW & ESS Certified

·         Receive all components and materials on-site

·         Observe and Advise construction contractor throughout erection

·         Perform final mechanical completion inspection and issue appropriate certificates

·         Perform electrical commissioning including: Generator alignments, PLC programming & calibration, initial startup, SCADA integration, PRT (Park Reliability Test), and handover.
